Rough Night

We had a pretty rough night last night. Sophia started vomiting around 8pm and a couple more times later. Her heart rate has been up pretty high since yesterday afternoon. We think because of nausea. She seems pretty dehydrated which also could be elevating her heart rate. She has been dry heaving all morning. She is getting some anti-nausea medicine(zofran). And we are going to try some pedialyte in a little while.
She is getting her blakes(chest drains) out this morning. This will hopefully make her hurt a little less.
Her cardiologist has ordered an EKG and Echo this morning. I haven't heard how her chest xray was. But, her lungs were sounding much better last night with her breathing treatments.
I will keep you posted and try to post some pics. I do not think any of us got any sleep last night. So naps will definitely be part of the agenda.
Comments:
All she needs is for Grandma to hold the baby. Will be there for nap time for the big kids.
I am sure the drains removed will ease her chest pain.

Sorry you all had a bad night:(. Hopefully today will be a better day. Still praying.

So sorry to hear about Sophia's nausea. Will be praying that the chest tube removal will make her more comfortable and that the med's will help the nausea so that everyone can get a little rest today.

Sorry for the rough night, I hope you can get a bit of rest today to help you make it through. We will be praying that the vomitting stops and the chest tube removal goes well, etc. We're still rooting for you all as always! :)

Sorry to hear she had a rough night, that you all did. Hope today is better, that they find the reason for the vomiting and fix it.

Sweet lil Nakie. Surely the blake removal will help calm some of her discomfort. I was excited to hear about her feedings earlier, now that we know she's goin' Linda Blair... Poor sweet baby girl. I pray that she will be able to hold down the pedialyte and eventually some formula. She needs her nutrition. I will also pray that things will go smoothly so that mom & dad can get some rest. Your love for her is immeasurable and she knows it. Hang in there!
Lots o' love to all!

I am thinking of and doing practice for you guys. Unfortunatly, my practice has little blessing, so I just have to do more mantras :)

Juj and I have pretty rough coghs, so were staying away... we love you guys.
