Sophia seems to be tolerating the extubation. She is requiring a lot of oxygen. But is to receive some treatments from respiratory therapy overnight. She still seems to have a lot of junk in her chest. And she is still a little groggy from sedatives and narcotics. But all this would be expected with the difficult surgery she had.
I am going to get some rest.
Comments:
Michael and Patty never leave Sophia's side, I know that she is so happy that they are there.
Even though she is pretty sleepy she opens her eyes now and then to make sure Mommy or Daddy are still there.
I am so proud of their parenting skills and to see them with this little sick girl is so wonderful.
 
So glad that extubation is going well. Hoping you get your much needed rest and that things continue to progress positively for you. Always praying . . .
