Hospital Update

Sophia is doing much better. She is off of oxygen and her sats are holding in the 80s (we've even seen some 90s).
She is eating well and tolerating all of her home regimen.
She has been awake more, happy and playing. We are pleased to have our little girl back. But, we have not yet heard any murmurs of discharge just yet...maybe, tomorrow.
Comments:
So glad to hear that Sophia is feeling better and getting back to her sweet self.

It's a shame you've had to deal with a different cardiac care team there and have not had a good experience. Hopefully you'll be home soon and will be able to get things straightened out with your regular dr.

Glad to hear that Sophia is feeling better :)

YIKES -- what does that dr think she is doing??? So sorry that you guys are having to deal with this right now. . .

I think consistancy of care is so important with heart kids, I'm sorry that you're having to fight for the basic things like continuity in Sophia's medications. Keeping you all in my thoughts.

Checking out your options and not just taking what your handed is so important. We were given a pc the day Evan was born and just stuck with them without questions all the way through his surgery and after that we started to compare notes with other local parents and decided to make a move, that has been the best thing we could have done for Evans care. This is an important reminder!

What a shame you have to fight for what is right for Sophia. Dr."S" sure could ...............oh never mind!!! The important thing is that Sophia is getting better and hopefully Dr. O'Laughlin will return soon.

Love Nana Holley
